    1 Peter 1:3

  • "The resurrection of Christ is the most important article of our faith, and without it the hope of eternal life is extinguished."

    John Calvin

  • "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope."

    Romans 15:4

  • “Christian hope is certainty, guaranteed by God himself. Christian hope expresses knowledge that every day of his life, and every moment beyond it, the believer can say with truth, on the basis of God’s own commitment, that the best is yet to come.”

    J.I. Packer

  • "Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God."

    Psalm 42:11

  • "The resurrection means not merely that Christians have a hope for the future but that they have a hope that comes from the future. The Bible’s startling message is that when Jesus rose, he brought the future kingdom of God into the present."

    Tim Keller

  • “My hope lives, not because I am not a sinner, but because I am a sinner for whom Christ died. My trust is not that I am holy, but that being unholy, Christ is my righteousness. My faith rests not upon what I am or shall be or feel or know— but in who Christ is, in what He has done, and in what He is now doing for me.”

    C.H. Spurgeon

  • “The whole world is going to be redeemed. Jesus is going to redeem spirit and body, reason and emotion, people and nature. There is no part of reality for which there is no hope.”

    Tim Keller

  • "But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

    Isaiah 40:31

  • "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

    Jeremiah 29:11

  • "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

    Romans 15:23

  • "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain."

    Hebrews 6:9

  • "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful."

    Hebrews 10:23

  • "But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. "

    1 Peter 3:15

  • "If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied. But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead."

    1 Corinthians 15:19-21
